When you do the transcription, do you upload it from your phone to the cloud?

I think it's designed through the phone because if the device tries to connect directly to the internet, the battery life will be poor.

The app's features and such seem to be designed for people who have a job where they do a number of sales talks a day and text and share reports internally on what conversations they've had with potential customers.

For people who have physical conversations because the other person's voice is not included when videoconferencing with a headset.
